What we believe

AI search measurement is methodologically immature. Vendor scores are not statistically defensible. The category needs an epidemiologist's discipline, not a marketer's flair.

Transparency is a moat, not a cost.

Independence matters: we don't sell tools to manipulate the scores we publish.

Who built this

Nathan Williams, founder. Operator of Amvia (B2B telecoms, 12 years), Comparefibre (B2C fibre comparison), and Surfaceloop (EASM cybersecurity). Decision-maker for all three Rectifies design partners.

Claude Code (development partner) — credited explicitly because methodology transparency requires honesty about how the system was built.

How we're funded

  • Three Amvia portfolio properties paying £900/mo combined.
  • No external investment. No content sponsorship. No sponsored research.
  • We will note any future funding here when it changes.

What we will and won't accept

Will accept: customer money, conference speaking fees with disclosed sponsors, academic collaboration on data releases.

Will not accept: vendor sponsorship of research, paid placement in any analysis, undisclosed advisory relationships with vendors covered in our research.
